A fire broke out in the town of Loma Alta, Santa María, Córdoba, Argentina on Tuesday morning.
The fire is still active and is being fought by firefighters from the province and the National Fire Management Service.
The weather conditions are not favorable for firefighting, as a cold front is expected to arrive with gusts of up to 80 kilometers per hour.

In other parts of the province, firefighters have been able to extinguish and contain fires in Quebrada del Condorito-San Alberto, Los Canarios and Porterillo, and La Campana and La Calera Cemetery.
Last week, there were also fires in Villa Yacanto and Villa Intiyaco, in Calamuchita; Villa Ciudad de América and San Agustín, in Santa María; Los Morteritos, in San Alberto; Salsipuedes, in Colón and Santa María de Punilla, in Punilla.

These fires in Loma Alta were caused by high temperatures and strong winds.
The Loma Alta also mentions that the fire in is concentrated in a sector of blackberry bushes that is difficult to access. Firefighters are using specialized equipment to try to put out the fire.
The Córdoba that the fire situation in is likely to continue for some time, as the weather conditions are not favorable for firefighting.
