Taiwan to Participate in 2024 Paris Cultural Olympics

Taiwanese Minister of Culture Shi Zhe recently visited France for the 2024 Paris Cultural Olympics, where he declared that “Taiwan will definitely not be absent.”

The Cultural Olympics is a cultural exchange and display event that will be held simultaneously with the 2024 Paris Olympics. Shi Zhe visited the scheduled venue for the National Pavilion of the Cultural Olympics, La Villette Park, and met with Park Director Sophie-Justine Lieber. They discussed how Taiwan can best present its unique culture and spirit at the event.

Shi Zhe said that Taiwan will use its most diverse culture and amazing technology to integrate its performing arts, visual arts, and culture technology. He hopes that Taiwan’s participation in the Paris Cultural Olympics will warm the world with culture.

In addition to his visit to La Villette Park, Shi Zhe also attended the 6th Paris Taiwan Film Festival and witnessed the signing of a letter of intent for cooperation between the Barvin Center and the Fondation Fiminco and the Plateforme 10 Art and Cultural Park Foundation in Lausanne, Switzerland.

Shi Zhe’s visit to France is a sign of Taiwan’s commitment to cultural exchange and diplomacy. Taiwan’s participation in the 2024 Paris Cultural Olympics will be a great opportunity to showcase the country’s rich culture and heritage to the world.
