The demolition of illegal structures in housing schemes is a welcome development. It will help to ensure that the city is developed in a planned and sustainable manner. It will also help to protect the rights of legitimate homeowners and investors.

However, it is important to note that the demolition of illegal structures can also have a negative impact on the affected residents. Some residents may lose their homes or businesses, and they may not have the resources to find alternative accommodation.

It is important for the RDA to work with the affected residents to provide them with assistance and support. The RDA should also ensure that the demolition of illegal structures is carried out in a fair and transparent manner.
